Sanjeev Chawla is a serial entrepreneur and global executive with over 30 years of business strategy and technology leadership experience spanning Telecom and Enterprise Software. Prior to founding AGNITY, Sanjeev was Co-founder and CTO of BayPackets – Venture backed VOIP Application platform startup. BayPackets was acquired by GENBAND, a global leader in IP infrastructure solutions. Sanjeev served as the GENBAND CTO post acquisition. In prior roles, Sanjeev co-lead development and launch of SWIFT Network – global leader of secure financial messaging services.
Sanjeev also serves on advisory boards of startups and charities in the Bay Area. Sanjeev holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), India.
President - AGNITY Healthcare
As President of AGNITY Healthcare, Ken Epps is advancing the company’s mission to empower clinicians across the continuum of care with integrated clinical communications to deliver anytime, anywhere point of care. Through his leadership, the company is guiding the healthcare industry into a new era of care-team coordination utilizing secure mobile contextual communications and transforming the way healthcare services are delivered and received.
Prior to joining AGNITY, Ken took two venture-backed enterprise software and IT services companies, BayPackets and Emerald Solutions, from concept to commercialization. He successfully launched numerous consumer, enterprise, and Internet-based products during his tenure in leadership roles at AT&T and The Williams Company (NYSE: WMB). His leadership experiences include CEO of BayPackets (Acquired by GENBAND) and U4EA Technologies (now GoS Networks), Chief Marketing Officer of Williams Communications (IPO: NYSE Listed WCG, October 1, 1999) and General Manager at AT&T. Ken received his MBA from Stanford University, a Masters of Science in engineering from the University of Tennessee and a Bachelors Degree from South Carolina State University. He serves on several advisory boards and is active in professional and community organizations.
Stephen B. Huang
Chief Financial Officer
Stephen is a seasoned Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with over 20 years of strategic, financial and operational experience working for publicly-traded and private equity/venture-backed companies/startups in the technology, manufacturing and services sectors.
Stephen has secured multiple equity and debt financings, implemented operational improvements for multiple companies, prepared and filed SEC registration statements for IPO and SEC reports (including S-1, S-4, S-3, S-8, 10-Q, 10-K, etc), completed multiple M&A transactions and post-closing integrations, and has extensive international and cross-border experience managing operations in the U.S., Europe, Canada, China, India and other parts of Asia.
Most recently, Stephen was the CFO of Inventergy Global, Inc. (NASDAQ: INVT). Prior to Inventergy, Stephen was the CFO of Altair Nanotechnologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: ALTI) and CFO of Penguin Computing, Inc.
Stephen began his career as a Banker at Great Western Financial Corporation (now part of JPMorgan Chase & Co), and held various financial management positions at Innovative Interfaces, Inc., Intel Corporation and Candescent Technologies Corporation (acquired by Canon, Inc). Stephen earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting from San Francisco State University.
VP Sales – AGNITY Communications
Martin is responsible for all of AGNITY’s engagements with partners and direct customers. He brings 20+ years experience in partnership development and sales to Wireless Service Providers across both RF and Core Network technologies. Martin has extensive international experience including leading a 30 person global overlay sales team for Cisco Systems. As part of the executive leadership team at Navini Networks, he built the partnership that resulted in the acquisition of the company for $330M. He was an integral part of Navini’s global sales growth and execution of the company’s exit strategy.
Martin began his telecom career at Nortel Networks in 1992 and his wireless career in 1994. He has spent many years in venture-backed organizations, developing their value propositions and building and implementing sales and partnership strategies to deliver growth. He holds a BA from The College of William and Mary and an MBA from Indiana University.
VP Product Management – AGNITY Communications
As Vice President of Product Management, Uday Choudhury is responsible for the product strategy, direction setting and technology-partner development for AGNITY’s Communications and Multimedia Solutions. He brings over 27 years of industry experience in building large scale telecom software infrastructure in fixed, mobile and IMS multimedia applications domain.
Uday joined AGNITY from GENBAND, where he was responsible for the product line management of M5 SDP and Applications portfolio, and managed product deployments at tier-1 service provider accounts in domestic and CALA regions. Prior to that, Uday served as AVP of Product Management for BayPackets, a leading supplier of a carrier-grade communications platform and converged applications for IP, Wireline, and Wireless carriers. Uday also had a long career with Alcatel-Lucent, formerly Lucent Technologies, working as technical manager in Signaling and Switching division. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Louisiana.
Managing Director and VP-Engineering, India
Subhash Verma has wide industry experience spanning over 30 years in Software Development, Telecommunication technologies, Data Communications and Value Added Services. He is heading the R&D Center at AGNITY India and is responsible for complete Engineering and Technology including Product Development, Testing, Solution Architecture, Product Management and Professional Services.
He is also overseeing the Operations, Finance and HR. Subhash joined AGNITY from GENBAND where he was VP of Engineering & Technology and was heading R&D at GENBAND’s International Development Center (IDC) at Noida, India, driving Product Development, Testing and new products innovation. Before GENBAND, Subhash was working as Assoc. VP of Technology at BayPackets Inc, USA, where he played a critical leadership role in setting the strategic technology direction for the company.
Prior to joining BayPackets, Subhash worked as Director in Department of Telecommunications, India’s national telecom policy development, licensing and monitoring body, for 13 years. He had been a speaker at various international conferences. Subhash received both a Bachelor of Engineering and Masters in Computer Science and Technology from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), India.
